Bharatpur is small city located in the eastern Rajasthan, itwas founded in 1733 AD by Maharaja Suraj Malji, it is named after the brother of Lord Rama called "Bharat", the city played an important part in history. Famous as a bird water's paradise. Bharatpur has privilege to host the thousands of Siberian cranes which travels more thousand miles to enjoy their winters. The place was named as Bharatpur after the name of Bharat, the brother of Lord Rama, whose other brother Laxman was worshipped as the family deity of the Bharatpur. The legends say the rulers Laxman's name is engraved on the state arms and the seals. The city and the fort have been believed to be founded by Rustam, a Jat of Sogariya clan. Maharaja Suraj Mal took over from Khemkaran, the son of Rustam, and established the empire. He fortified the city by building a massive wall around the city. The interesting aspect of the Bharatpur history is the domination of Jats in the region since 17th century. Leaders like Churaman and Badan Singh brought the jats together to mould them into a force to reckon with. Suraj Mal has been the greatest ruler who made them a formidable force and played a very important role in the Indian history during 19th century.

Sariska has an Indian National Park located in the Alwar District of the state of Rajasthan. It is originally a hunting preserve of the erstwhile Alwar state, the area was declared a wildlife reserve in 1955. In 1978 it was declared a Tiger Reserve and is now a part of India's Project Tiger scheme. The present area of the park is 866 kmē. The park is situated 107 km north east of the state capital Jaipur. An image of the entrance to Sariska Some of the wildlife found in the Sariska Tiger Reserve include the tiger, leopard, jungle cat, hyena, jackal, chital, sambar, gaur, langur, wild boar and several species of birds comes in the mind. Sariska has a rich natural heritage with some beautiful lakes and picturesque valleys thickly wooded in parts. Perched on the most prominent of these hills is a massive ancient fort that whispers tales of the rich history of the city. The landscape of Sariska comprises of hills and narrow valleys of the Aravali hill range. The topography of Sariska supports scrub-thorn arid forests, dry deciduous forests, rocks and grasses. The broad range of wildlife here is a wonderful example of ecological adoption and tolerance, for the climate here is variable as well as erratic. Pavilions and Temples within Sariska are ruins that hint at past riches and glory. The nearby Kankwadi Fort has a long and turbulent history. In morning and evening, wildlife in Sariska heads towards the many water holes, which litter the park, thus providing the guests with their best chance of viewing game. At some of these watering holes it is possible to book hides which are situated in prime spots for wildlife viewing.
